Luke graduated from Deakin University and went on to study at the National Theatre Drama School in Melbourne. Luke has toured extensively with Garry Ginivan Attractions, appearing in The Magic Faraway Tree, Winnie the Pooh (Tigger) and Puff The Magic Dragon (Puff). Other credits include The Pajama Game for the Production Company, shows for Royal Caribbean International Productions, Call Me, Find Me, Meet Me for Blue Chair Theatre Co, The Hobbit for International Concert Attractions, the original Australian tour of Shout! The Musical for Jacobsen’s Entertainment, in which he covered and performed the role of Col Joye. In Eureka (Essgee Entertainment), he understudied the leading role of Sean Flynn, and in Mamma Mia! the role of Sky. Luke featured in the original production of Sideshow Alley in which he understudied the lead role of Billy and played the roles of Archie and Tom. In the role of Kurt, Luke featured in the New York's Benefit version of Dutch Courage for Magnormos. In 2009, Luke was a finalist in Melbourne’s Short & Sweet Festival, in Emma Moore’s You May Kiss The Bride, picking up the People’s Choice Award and another in Short & Not So Sweet for Best Overall Production & People’s Choice.

Film & Television

Luke appeared in City Homicide in the nefarious role of Samuel Bowler.  Other credits include Home & Away, Love Bytes (Fox TV), My Brother Jack (Network 10), Monday Dump with Roy & HG (Network 7), Denise (Network 7), Access All Areas (Project Greenlight Fox TV) and short films: Mac The Knife, The Weather in London, Odyssey and Fragmentary Experience.  Luke also stared in Hard Rubbish for Raw Nerve & Screen Australia. 

Commercials include Farmers Union Iced Coffee, AGL Energy, Mitsubishi Outlander, CFMEU and NBAF. In 2009,

Luke played the role of Troy in a new Australian feature film, Shadows Of The Past featuring Mark Lee & Tania Kernaghan.

International

Luke has also toured Singapore and the Philippines for both X System and Nomates Drama In Action. Luke featured in the South East Asia launch of Crusade, playing the role of Michael for Nomates as well many other touring Nomates productions around Australia & abroad. For X System in 2007, Luke played the role of Ken in Barbie and hosted Strawberry Shortcake in Manila. Following this, Luke went on to the United States to New York to rehearse & play the leading role in Jude at Yale University for the 2007 Thomas Hardy Conference on behalf of the London Travesty Theatre Company. Luke has also appeared in various production shows for Royal Caribbean International and the Argentinean variety act, El Guacho.

Latest

In 2013, Luke has appeared in a feature, "The Heckler" Directed by Ben Plazzer and "Lift" (directed by Ben Plazzer).  

Luke's short film "Courage" has been officially selected in four international festivals so far and will be screening at the Eugene International Festival next month!

Recently, Luke wrote, produced and directed a short film, "Lake Breeze" and he is also working on a new tv comedy series and a feature film.

Luke can also be sighted in a TVC for Essastone and Renault Koleos.
